Sustainable agro-finance is key in increasing economic development, especially in countries where agriculture is important in generating domestic product. State development banks, operating in close cooperation with the Government have a significant role in accelerating economic welfare, while increasing productivity, employment and income. The food-and-agribusiness value chain comprises a wide range of companies, from suppliers of agricultural machinery, seeds, fertilizers, and packaged branded foods and beverages to data providers for precision agriculture. At the same time the need of autonomous regenerative and sustainable Agrifood requires a new and innovative approach, as well as alternative markets for the sale of products.
