The event in a few words

Pascal Lagarde, Executive Director of Bpifrance and Chairman of the Board of the EMENA Foundation,
is delighted to welcome its annual summit to Paris

on the 10th and 11th of May 2023,
at the Hotel de Pomereu.
63-67 rue de Lille, Paris 75007.

This platform aims to foster the sharing of experience between state-funded investors and information on any relevant investment opportunities in Europe,
the Middle East, and North Africa. The EMENA area needs USD 700-900 billion in investments to cover its funding gap.
As our goal is to unleash investment in the Mediterranean area, these two-day meeting will be an opportunity to showcase concrete projects
and innovative SMEs in need of equity and to reflect on tomorrow's sustainable infrastructure in the region, arguably with the development of smart cities.

Program

After a series of meetings reserved for EMENA members on May 10th,
the Foundation will invite all guests to a welcoming dinner (details will follow shortly in the program).
On the following day, May 11th, all guests are welcome to attend a high-level conference on investment in the Mediterranean basin.
Two-panel sessions will be organized, one on investment in innovative companies that can provide responses to the climate challenge and the other on smart cities.
These discussions will conclude with a networking lunch in the early afternoon.
