Mounir TAREK, PhD
Chief Executive Officer, NEBULA
After obtaining his PhD in Physics from the University of Paris, Mounir held successive research positions at CEA Saclay, the University of Pennsylvania, and the National Institute of Standards and Technology (US Department of Commerce, Washington DC, USA). With eight years of international experience—including a role as a consultant for Procter & Gamble (Cincinnati, Ohio)—he specializes in molecular modeling using state-of-the-art computational techniques. He joined the CNRS in 2001 and was assigned to the University of Lorraine.
Mounir is an internationally recognized Exec Research Director at the CNRS boasting over 25 years of experience in the field of computational biophysics, and more than a hundred publications in international journals. He possesses extensive experience in research and project management.
Mounir also serves as an Innovation Ambassador for the CNRS;
He cofounded (October 2024) and is spearheading the development of NEBULA, overseeing all aspects of business execution and growth, focusing on driving innovation and ensuring the company's success.
