Batteries are the key technology for the energy transition: they are essential for electrifying our transport sector and supporting the development of renewable energy. Whilst Asia, and China in particular, have gained a considerable lead, it is essential, in order to preserve our sovereignty, to establish a complete value chain in Europe. An overview based on strategic French projects and in partnership with the European Batteries European Partnership Association.
