Are French SMEs really lagging behind in artificial intelligence? The answer deserves a nuanced approach. To go beyond preconceived ideas, we will offer insights based on data from Bpifrance Le Lab, which will help contextualize the AI maturity of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). This session will also be an opportunity to identify the concrete obstacles to AI adoption—whether they are cultural, financial, or related to skills—and to explore realistic courses of action, whether through public policy or more operational approaches within companies. The ambition: to contribute to a better understanding of the challenges and open up concrete perspectives.
