Vietnam: the challenges of tomorrow's smart factory

In 2021, Vietnam approved a national digital transformation programme. It aims to improve the digital transformation of all participating production facilities by 2025, with approximately 500,000 companies receiving assistance from the programme in the form of training, consulting and access to digital solutions.
The initiative will help accelerate the digital transformation through changes in awareness, business strategies and incentives for the digitisation of companies, administration and production activities. The challenge of this transformation is great. Indeed, in order for Vietnam to remain competitive, it will need to modernise and industrialise its factories through continuous improvement of its automation processes and IT.
