Climate found militant leaders!

The Coq Vert community is a community of business leaders who are convinced of the need to take action and are already committed to the ecological and energy transition. Launched by Bpifrance, in partnership with ADEME (the French Environment and Energy Management Agency) and the French Ministry for Ecological Transition, the Community aims to encourage the sharing of expertise between committed entrepreneurs.

In September 2020, following the government's official recovery plan, Bpifrance launched a Climate Plan based on 3 pillars: 
  • Accelerating the transition of businesses with a continuum combining financing, guarantees and support ; 
  • Provide massive funding and support for innovation, particularly in Greentech, to help ‘green unicorns’ emerge and grow ;
  • Support the development of low-carbon energies and contribute to the growth of international champions.

The Climate in Action podcast raises voice of those who are taking action to promote the ecological and energy transition. Whether they are entrepreneurs or researchers, they will discuss the major climate challenges linked to critical sectors such as relevant industries, new economies and digital technology.

Coq Vert Book

Bpifrance presents the second book in the Collections de L'Optimiste series, ‘Climat cherche patrons militants’, co-written by 36 entrepreneurs committed to the ecological and energy transition, as well as the founding members of the Coq Vert community. L'Optimiste's Collections are special issues that shine a spotlight on the outstanding initiatives of our communities. For this new edition, we are highlighting the stories of entrepreneurs and economic and institutional players who are responding to the major challenges of their time and whose common denominator is a commitment to the climate. This book is the story of human who are collectively committed to a more sustainable future.
