Description
Karine Safa has a doctorate in philosophy and lectures at engineering schools (Polytechnique, Écoles des Mines, Arts et Métiers, etc.) and in companies (Caisse d'Épargne, Société Générale, Laboratoire Merck, Ernst & Young, etc.). She is the author of a reference work on Renaissance humanism (Vrin) and has just published ‘Pourquoi la Renaissance peut sauver le monde, l'imagination comme chemin’ (Plon 2022, Pocket 2023). Karine Safa has taken part in numerous programmes, documentaries and collective works. Her most recent: ‘Peut-on encore croire au progrès’ (Éditions de l'Aube).
She is currently continuing her philosophical futures research, celebrating the spirit of daring and entrepreneurship that is shaping the world of tomorrow. By building bridges between the eras and bucking the trend towards decline, she shows how the Renaissance can stimulate our imaginations, inspire innovative practices and provide us with solid reference points in a world in upheaval.
