TreeFrog Therapeutics
Cofondateur, VP US et CTO
Description
A graduate of the Ecole Normale Supérieure with a doctorate in physics, he met Maxime Feyeux, also a graduate of the Ecole Normale Supérieure with a doctorate in neurobiology, in 2014 at the University of Geneva. Together, they came up with the idea of creating a company around cell therapies, bringing together biophysicists, cell biologists and bio-production engineers to meet the industry's challenges - producing and differentiating quality cells on an unprecedented scale, cost-effectively. In 2015, the Institut d'Optique Graduate School in Bordeaux and CNRS Aquitaine opened the doors of the LP2N laboratory to them and gave them access to a €300,000 pre-maturation grant. The Treefrog adventure could begin... Since then, the company has raised 82 million dollars to advance a portfolio of stem cell therapies in regenerative medicine, with HQs in Pessac and Bordeaux and 140 employees. In 2022, Kevin moved to the US to open a technology centre, to foster strategic alliances in the dynamic Boston eco-system.
