Description
AfricInvest Europe, a subsidiary of the AfricInvest group, manages the Franco-African Funds 1 and 2 (“FFA”), FPCIs dedicated to French SMEs with development projects in Africa (c. €130m in AUM).
To date, the FFAs have already made 17 investments in innovative and fast-growing French SMEs, in sectors as varied as health, industry, education and the environment. AfricInvest aims to support these French companies in their development in Africa through a multicultural team based in France and on the African continent.
The AfricInvest Group, pioneer and leader in Private Equity in Africa, is a pan-African private equity fund manager founded in 1994 in Tunisia. With more than €2 billion in assets under management, AfricInvest has to date made more than 200 investments in nearly 30 countries in Africa and France and relies on a team of 100 employees of 15 different nationalities operating from 9 offices established in Abidjan, Algiers, Casablanca, Lagos, Cairo, Nairobi, Port Louis, Paris and Tunis.
