Description
The negative impacts of chemical pesticides on the environment and human health are well established and documented. However, European policies are still struggling to make progress towards the target set in the "From farm to fork" strategy of a 50% reduction in the use of chemical pesticides by 2030. A group of 144 experts, scientists and stakeholders worked for two years to produce a forecast based on a new model, directly designing agricultural and food systems without any chemical pesticides by 2050.
