Denis Moniotte is a fintech entrepreneur for financial inclusion. He is currently the co-founder and CEO of Rubyx, a global start-up specializing in the development of digital credit portfolios for micro-entrepreneurs and SMEs in emerging markets. Based on an innovative approach combining service design and behavioral analytics, Rubyx is growing fast and operates in more than 10 countries and processes data from over 2 million micro businesses in less than 3 years.
Denis studied development economics and law and started working for major European financial service providers in large technology transformation projects. He has 20 years of experience in implementing disruptive digital products for financial services, including 15 years in Africa and Asia. For nearly 10 years, he developed and led the digital strategy of the Baobab Group, positioning it as the leading microfinance group in Africa.
