Description
Urssaf finances the social model by collecting contributions and social security contributions. In the economic field, it supports business creators (or future creators), employers and entrepreneurs through service offerings and dedicated spaces on Urssaf.fr
To facilitate the formalities, Urssaf also provides self-employed entrepreneurs, self-employed workers and liberal professions with presentation materials for the various statuses, activity declaration formalities, essential contacts, exemptions, as well as procedures for declaring income and paying contributions.
The amount of contributions collected is redistributed to the organizations responsible for paying family benefits (health, retirement, family allowances, maternity leave, retirement pensions, housing assistance, compensation for accidents at work, etc.)
Finally, many online services have been developed by Urssaf for filing declarations, payments and account management.
