Description
Paul van Alst is the founder and CEO of Protectron B.V., a Dutch company developing drone detection and electronic warfare solutions for defence and authorised security applications.
He leads strategy, partnerships and business development, translating operational needs into technical priorities. He is also a co-owner of an Ukrainian electronic warfare company. His ongoing field experience supporting soldiers in Ukraine informs his understanding of evolving threats and operational challenges. He has delivered workshops on recognising, assessing and responding to drone threats in high-risk transport operations to European partners.
He collaborates with other companies to develop layered defence solutions addressing a broad spectrum of drone and missile threats. His focus is on integrating complementary detection and countermeasure technologies to protect personnel, vehicles and critical infrastructure, connecting lessons from Ukraine with European capability development.
