Viktorija Trimbel leads Coinvest Capital, Lithuania’s sovereign venture capital fund, which invests in defence, dual-use and deep-tech innovation on NATO’s Eastern Flank. She co-founded DAEN, the Defence Angels European Network, and was elected to its inaugural board. DAEN brings private angel capital to early-stage European defence start-ups. She also sits on the boards of defence technology companies, including Unmanned Defence Systems and PDKinematics.
Viktorija started Tough Tech by the Tough Ten, an annual report on defence and dual-use innovation across ten Eastern Flank countries, available on www.investingfordefence.com. She has more than 30 years’ experience in corporate governance, M&A, investing and fundraising, and is a certified professional board member. She also serves on the boards of LitBAN (the Lithuanian Business Angels Network) and the Lithuanian Private Equity and Venture Capital Association.
