Description
I'm a retired General and former Chief of the Hellenic Army General Staff. Over my career I commanded a Mechanized Infantry Division, an Army Corps and the First Army, and served as Director of Intelligence at the Hellenic National Defence General Staff. I've had operational tours in Northern Iraq (Kurdistan), Iraq, Kuwait and Afghanistan, and served as Defence Attaché covering Beijing, Seoul and Tokyo. As a division commander in Alexandroupoli, I helped set up the port as a transit hub for NATO forces moving toward Ukraine. Today I'm Special Advisor for Defence, Security and Cyber at KPMG Greece and run my own consultancy, Strategic Vision Insights. I'm happy to talk with anyone working on defence industry, procurement, or how AI is changing the way forces are commanded.
