Description
Michał Polanski holds the position of Director of the Entrepreneurship Support Department at the Polish Entrepreneurship Development Agency (PARP) - the largest public organization responsible for business development in Poland.
Within the agency Mr. Polanski is responsible for the implementation of programmes and projects related to the promotion of entrepreneurship, support for start-up companies training of SMEs and export promotion.
He currently supervises, among others, the following initiatives:
- SME Development Center,
- PARP’s Academy- the largest e-learning platform dedicated for SMEs in Poland,
- Export promotion programmes aimed at promoting Polish IT/ICT, Electronics, Green Technologies, Building Materials, Creative Industries, and Medical Devices sectors,
- Startups Are Us- Polish start-ups promotion programme
- Bilateral Polish- Norwegian initiatives,
- programmes aimed at the development of entrepreneurship and startup sector in Ukraine.
Mr. Polanski also coordinates Enterprise Europe Network in Poland and manages PARP's international relations. He also represents PARP in various organisations and councils such as Executive Working Group of TAFTIE, and State space industry policy council.
Mr. Polanski has extensive experience in the field of application and management of international projects. He participated in the implementation of initiatives financed by the State budget and several European funds. He shared his know how with many international organisations such as European Commission, World Bank and OECD.
Michał Polanski graduated from the law faculty of the University of Warsaw. He also studied In Orleans (France). He holds a doctorate in legal sciences and is member of the Bar of Legal Advisors in Warsaw. Mr. Polanski is fluent in Polish, English French and Russian.
