Dr Panayiotis Philimis is the Founder and CEO of CyRIC EU|BIC the Business Innovation Center (BIC) of
Cyprus, certified by the European BIC Network supporting startups and SMEs. He has 25+ years’
experience in the design and development of disruptive high-tech products such as Drones, Robots, IoT,
wearables etc. and last decade managed several R&D and industry projects with budgets exceeding
100million Euro. He is the founder of GRAVITY VC Fund and GRAVITY incubator, an international venture
building Incubator that invests in a diversified portfolio of deep tech startups including dual use/defence. He is currently the VP of CARIE, The Cyprus Defence and Space Industry Accosiation.
