Bilal Hassani, 25, singer-songwriter, actor and producer, shares his daily life with over 3 million loyal fans around the world. He is the symbol of a new generation, and holds high the values of tolerance, acceptance, self-love and respect for all. Bilal is one of Vanity Fair's 20 most influential LGBTQ+ personalities in the world. He was named Personality of the Year 2021 by French magazine Têtu. Considered a pop icon by Les Inrockuptibles magazine, Bilal Hassani has 3 albums and 1 mixtape to his credit. His latest album, Théorème, was produced by the king of French pop, GrandMarnier, from the group Yelle. In 2019, after representing France at Eurovision with his song “Roi” - a vibrant message of self-acceptance - he released his debut album, Kingdom, and won the NRJ Music Award for “Francophone Revelation of the Year”. The same year, his first tour wins an Olympia Award. In 2020, his video for the single Fais le vide won the MTV France Music Video of the Year 2020.
In 2021, Bilal was a finalist in season 11 of Danse avec les stars, becoming the first celebrity in Europe to dance with a partner of the same sex, putting the spotlight on the LGBTQIA+ community in prime time. Her performances have left a lasting impression, both in terms of technical skill and stage interpretation. Always on the lookout for new forms of artistic expression, Bilal is now turning to the cinema. He landed his first role in Les Reines du Drame, directed by Alexis Langlois, and co-starred with Asia Argento and Alma Jodorowsky. Distributed by Bac Films, the film was presented at Cannes as part of the “Quinzaine des cinéastes”. Bilal will be back in a second film, Nino dans la nuit, directed by Laurent Micheli, based on the novel by Simon and Capucine Johannin.
