Description
Laura took her first steps as an early-stage VC in 2014, at 360 Capital Partners (Le Slip Français, Foodchéri, Quitoque, etc.), where in 2016 she spotted Lille-based startup Exotec Solutions at seed stage, which has since become France's first industrial unicorn. In 2017, she joined Korelya Capital and Fleur Pellerin (Ledger, Vestiaire Collective, AB Tasty, etc.), to participate in the growth financing of future European champions. In Estonia, she met the teams at Bolt, the future European leader in 2.0 mobility, which Korelya is supporting in its development. Passionate about information (she holds both a Grande École and a Specialized Media Master's degree from ESCP Europe), in 2024 she launched the Sunstorm Foundation, an innovative philanthropic initiative in support of informational integrity.
The Sunstorm Foundation brings together European tech donors (VCs/angels/founders), to fund fundamental innovation in informational integrity, including the fight against misinformation and foreign interference online.
Its objective: to help this new industry emerge, at the crossroads of defense, cybersecurity and information.
Its method: tech philanthropy, with donors participating in more than just financing (support, help with governance, recruitment, networking, tech audits, etc.).
Its vision: to give Europe the means to become a leader in the field of information integrity: a space where citizens, students and professionals are recognized for their ability to resist cognitive and technological manipulation, within sovereign and trusted digital infrastructures.
