Description

Le Mans Football Club (Le Mans FC) is a French soccer club based and founded in Le Mans on June 12, 1985 under the name Le Mans Union Club. The club is the result of the merger of the Le Mans Sports Union (USM), from which it takes over the registration number, and the Maine Olympic Stadium (SOM). Resident of the Léon-Bollée Stadium until 2011, Le Mans FC then played its home games at the MMArena, the first French sports arena to be named, until 2013. The club is chaired by Thierry Gomez.
