Union Tours Basket Métropole is a basketball club founded in 2014. This union follows the merger of two entities from Tours to give a second wind to basketball in the region. One team, one city, having marked the male elite of the French Championship in the years 1970-1980, winning two French championship titles during this period. The club plays at the Halle Monconseil (1500 seats) and is directed by Bruno De L'Espinay.
