The Stade Poitevin Volley Beach, abbreviated to SPVB, is a French volleyball club founded in 2012 and based in Poitiers, playing for the 2017-2018 season in League A (first national division). It was born from the ashes of the Stade Poitevin Volley Ball, a club founded in 1973 and disappeared in 2012 after judicial liquidation. The omnisports hall of the Ganterie, today the Frédéric Lawson-Body 2 hall (3200 seats), named in honor of the team's former player, Frédéric Lawson-Body, who died of bacterial meningitis, houses the fans of the Stade Poitevin Volley-Beach. The club is directed by Claude Berrard.
