The Stade lorrain université club Nancy basket, more commonly known as SLUC Nancy Basket, is a French basketball club located in Nancy. The nickname of the club is the "Cougars".
The club was founded in 1967 and currently plays in the French Pro B championship. It plays its matches at the Palais des Sports Jean-Weille, a 6,027-seat arena located in the Gentilly district of Nancy. The SLUC Nancy is one of the clubs that attract the most spectators each year, with an average attendance of over 5,000 spectators each season.
The SLUC Nancy has won the French Basketball Championship twice in 2008 and 2011, the Match of Champions twice in 2008 and 2011, the French Pro B Championship once in 1994, and the Semaine des As in 2005. The SLUC is the last French club to have also won the Korać Cup in 2002.
