The Saint-Nazaire Volley-Ball (SNVB) created in 1972, then renamed Saint-Nazaire Volley-Ball Atlantique (SNVBA) in 1993, is the 5th National club and the 2nd regional with its 316 members and its 21 coaches. With its 21 teams competing in the championship this season, the club is a balanced sports association between young and senior competitors, baby/mini, leisure & professional, relaxation and health for both men and women.
With five seasons spent at the highest level of French Volleyball (Pro A and then Ligue A), the SNVBA is one of the leading clubs in the Loire region. Young teams have also won numerous regional and departmental titles.
A growing number of young people from the Nazairian youth team are joining the Departmental and Regional teams and the National Elite Poles.

The French Volleyball Federation has rewarded the club with the "Label Club Formateur Excellence" as well as the "Label d'Or Formateur" awarded by the Departmental Olympic and Sports Committee and the "Label Club 2 stars" of the National Volleyball League (LNV) since April 2018.
A true bastion of Nazairian sport, the SNVBA fills the Pierre de Coubertin hall every weekend on the occasion of the French Championship, thanks to a passionate and growing public, welcomed by a group of volunteers each day more involved in the life of the club.
Strongly rooted in Nazairian life, the SNVBA is regularly involved in citizen actions aimed at the neighborhoods, people with disabilities and charitable and humanitarian associations.
