Description
A graduate of Grenoble Polytechnic Institute and holder of an MBA in Strategic Management, Jean-Baptiste Yvon began his career at Schneider in sensors, before joining Valeo in electrical systems. He joined EFI AUTOMOTIVE in 1991 as a project manager dedicated to German customers, before becoming the Group's R&D Director with a staff of 80 for 7 years, then Director of the Sensors Business for 5 years, Group Business Development Director (Europe, China, USA) for 7 years before being appointed Director of Innovation in 2014. At the same time, within EFI AUTOMOTIVE, he created the AXANDUS start-up accelerator in 2015 and the EFILIGHTING start-up in 2016, which he manages. His mission focuses on finding the right strategic positioning and new applications for the Group through appropriate partnerships. Jean Baptiste Yvon has also been Vice President of CARA, the European Cluster for Mobility Solutions, since 2008, and has contributed to the cluster's development through various initiatives. Jean Baptiste has been a BPI expert since 2021 and brings a wealth of experience to the role.
