Description
Recent advances in bioelectronics, biomaterials and biotechnology improve the quality of life for many patients with implantable medical devices. They can be either active, known as AIMDs, such as implantable pacemakers, defibrillators, and neurostimulators; or inactive, known as IMDs, such as implants and prostheses. The France 2030 investment plan sets aside €400M for developing innovative medical devices. Will it be enough to boost the French industry?
