In 2023, the European Union adopted restrictive regulations aimed at stopping products from deforestation imported into Europe. Companies will have to prove that raw materials entering Europe have not caused deforestation. Presentation of the tools developed by the Alliance for the Preservation of Forests for businesses wanting to conduct a self-assessment of their responsible purchasing policy and prove they are committed to a sustainable future.
