Sud Ouest is a regional daily newspaper with a strong local presence. More than ever, it has national ambitions, but gives priority to regional, departmental and local news. More than half of its 250 journalists (editors and photographers) work in more than twenty branches in the region's main towns and cities. They are supported by a network of 600 local correspondents who gather local information. Thanks to this diversity and wealth of information, Sud Ouest is available in 10 editions with different departmental and local pages, each of which constitutes a complete newspaper with general information. Sud Ouest also fully meets the requirements of a newspaper that is open to national and international life, thanks to its reporters with recognised expertise in key sectors (politics, economics, society, culture or sports, etc.), its Paris-based editorial team and its foreign correspondents.
