Ontario represents 40% of the Canadian economy, its capital Toronto has 6.4 million inhabitants and is strongly enriched by a young and qualified immigration. The city is also Canada's financial hub, with the headquarters of six of the seven largest Canadian banks and the TSX exchange. Ontario's strongly mixed English-speaking culture makes it a bridgehead for access to the whole of Canada and to its American neighbor, with whom the province is forging particularly strong economic ties. More than 250 French companies are already located in Ontario; Next40 tech start-ups are setting up shop here, attracted by growing consumer markets and rapidly developing public transportation markets.
